Hi, ehm back in the day i played some Fatal Frame 2 on an older version of pcsx2 and because the speech was randomly sped up on some Occasions i remember switching back to an older SPU2 Plugin and it would solve the issue, but now i want to play Fatal frame 2 again(since i didnt finish it) but now i encounter the same issue and it doesnt seem like i can go back to this older version of SPU2 (r5324) so i dont really know what to do (because i still want to use pcsx2 1.4.0). I don't think it is necessary to go to old spu versions but maybe I am wrong. It is still active. Maybe delay cycles could solve the issue. To try that please search for the spu2-x ini file, open it and edit the line under 'Debug' with the key 'DelayCycles' which should have a value of '4'. Change this value to '1', '2', or '3' instead. Also I am not exactly sure what stops you to use an older spu2 version.

Do you get some error message? Maybe regarding XAudio? Can you please try with the older spu2-version? It is the vs2013 build which was used in earlier builds.
