I had this problem in my ute, if you take out the glove box (simply pull it towards you) there will be a small panel on your right (if you are in the passenger footwell), it's located just to the left of the radio and has 2 small screws, if you remove them this plastic panel will be able to be pulled away and in there will be a unit that looks like a modem, simply unplug the power from this and the voice in problem will be gone! It is probably the loading mechanism gears are either broken or something has jammed them up, possibly a cd got out of alignment. If your handy with tools and there is no warranty left on it (opening up your deck will void your warranty) then open it up and take a look. If you can, have the power hooked up to it.

If you are not handy with tools then you will need someone who is. Chances are something is broken though and depending on the price of the deck it might not be worth paying someone to fix it. Hi, I too am suffering with the same problem. The display on my 307 just inticates 'LOADING CD x'. The last CD to be played was taken from Slot 1. This has been happening on and off for the last month and it would start to work of its own accord, but now it appears to be screwed.

Hello, i found that after a while even proper cd's became a problem, the new replacement unit seems to be working very well playing any type of disc which suggests that the units have been upgraded as this is a very common problem in earlier cars. You will find that one day it will play and then it won't and all of a sudden it works again annoying more than anything.

If your car is less than 3 years old it will still be covered by it's warranty mine was and i bought it second hand. You can easy remove the unit using a metal coat hanger cut into 4 pieces place them in the slots bend them slightly outwards ( i think could be inwards ) and pull the unit out i did this several times also disconnecting the unit as i thought it would help to get it going again but in the end realised that it had a mind of it's own and would work again when it was ready without any prompting from me. I think that a passcode would only be required when a new unit was being installed as i reconnected mine several times and was never prompted for a code.

I guess I'll just have to be patient and wait, it took a week last time to come back to life. Unfortunately, my car is over the 3 year warranty - it's a 51 plate, so I'm blessed with the old model.Oh well, fingers crossed and I'll give the coathanger a go, or maybe pop down to halfords and smile nicely at one of the guys down there!
