For example, I did a 2014 fusion and instead of waiting 10 minutes for pats security, you instead have to have a valid FMCdealer login and then you immediately then can add/remove programmed keys, etc. This is especially true for vehicles that only have a 'remote transmitter' keyless type ignition (ie, push button).

It will be alot more difficult for the aftermarket to clone keys and the like if they dont have FMCdealer logins.
